We attended our first Lowell Indiana Labor Day parade from our front porch on the parade route.
This was Lowell Indiana’s 100th Labor Day parade in 2019.
Our high ground position was optimal for capturing images and video.
You can write of the “Memorial Day” guffaw in the first part of the video to getting up at 8 AM (they closed Route 2 at 9 AM after celebrating the entire Labor Day weekend).
The parade started with some police motorbikes doing wheelies and circles.
Shriners floated by all day.
Keto sat and watched the parade with wide eyes. he loved the people coming by and using the facilities.
Cute Chevy Golf Cart owned by Justanoldcart rode to represent the Chevy dealership.
Mitch taking a break between floats.
The Flippernout float was fun.
Lots of Fire Department vehicles came by.
Unions are the backbone of towns like Lowell and they were out in the parade to enforce. Lots of candy too.
The Shriners had some of the cutest vehicles.
Lowell is so very proud of their town.
Mitch wanted ham steak and eggs to go with his Keto pancakes. It was yummy.
The Fallen Hero’s walk was very touching.
4 Jeep pile up.
Lowell takes their Fire Department seriously.
This was a wild float.
Lawn Candy, there was a lot of it.
More Shriners, LOL.
Can’t have horses in a parade without this guy.
